Post-punk rockers the Psychedelic Furs were well into their stride by 84, having moved to the States to record their 'Mirror Moves' album. Richard Butler's gravelly voice suited the US production and the Furs started racking up the hits. Always pop influenced, the band quickly became a staple of college radio with their easy-on-the-ears new wave influences.
This hometown show reveals a confident band in fine form with plenty of hits to keep the crowd happy - enjoy!
The sound quality is excellent and the CD comes with newly designed cover and disc art.
