This post-punk turned synthpop Liverpudlian outfit made a fair impact on charts around the world in the early to mid 80s. With plenty of pop sensibilities, China Crisis delivered a smoother synthpop sound with the inclusion of traditional instruments and arrangements.

‘Christian’ and ‘Wishful Thinking’ were my two favourite songs by the band, but this show has plenty of other early material to commend it.

The sound quality is excellent and the CD comes with newly designed cover and disc art.
