AZTEC CAMERA
International 2, Manchester, 29 January 1988
Scottish pop group Aztec Camera had an illustrious career in
the 80s and into the early 90s, kicking off their career on the influential
Postcard record label, alongside a host of other Scottish indie darlings. They
quickly moved on to Rough Trade and started hitting the charts with their brand
of well-written, sophisticated Scotpop. Frontman, and only consistent
member, Roddy Frame's wistful, warm vocals style was the final ingredient
in the band's adult listening experience that fans loved.
This Manchester performance from mid-point in the band's
career includes a great selection of Aztec Camera's best and most-popular work
and some top banter from the ever-popular Roddy. An affable live show that
showcases just how good the Cameras were
The sound quality is excellent, and the CD comes with a
newly designed cover and disc art.
