A-HA

a-ha: Hammersmith Odeon, 16 December 1986

These Norwegian pop heartthrobs were a hardworking group back in the day. The 'Scounrel Days' tour was massive with over 170 shows around the world to support their second album (which they recorded and released within a year of their debut smash 'Hunting High and Low').

Despite their clean-cut, Nordic looks and their overwhelmingly teen-girl fanbase, a-ha were a tight synthpop group with plenty of good material already in the can. By the time they reached London on this, their biggest tour, they must have been so well versed it was second-nature to them. All the songs you'd expect are bashed out with plenty of upbeat banter.

The sound quality is good, and the CD comes with a newly designed cover and disc art.
